When is the timeline set?
Although threads can be set in the past, consider the overall timeline of this board to be set after all the animations. As far as comic continuity goes, this board would be set roughly round the time that Batman Incorporated gets rolling. We're letting those who choose to play the Batman decide on whether they want to play prior or post this event.
On sticking to Continuity...
We're not going to be terrible sticklers on this, since since the writers of the canon themselves are constantly bringing things in and out of continuity. Also, many characters (or at least Joker-HAHA) have either multiple, rewritten, or unconfirmed back-stories. Decide for yourself which you want to use, and make note of it within you application.
I've never been good at geography...
For the most part, the geography of Gotham Legacy will be based upon the game geography of DC Universe Online and Batman: Arkham Asylum. If you have any suggestions for locations to add to the board, PM The Joker or Nightwing, or drop a thread in the Suggestion Box.
