Marvel AU is a new Marvel forum based in the same universe as classic x-men, but with custom characters. The site is brand new and needs many active characters to get it started.

Mutants have started being born in numbers the Humans can not pass off. Though few laws are Anti Mutant the human public still calls for Mutant control and registration. Though the chaos on the east coast has been on the news, riots and violent mutants have been rare on the west coast. This changed when a large company called Humanity's Light known for medical research captured dozens of Mutants to try and cure them. Their hidden and iilegal research came to light when a Mutant escaped and the ensueing battle drew media attention all across the nation. Violence from Mutants surged and the police were quickly becoming overwhelmed. To Help the Xavoir School purchased a valley and began making their base thare to try and protect both Mutants and Humanity, in response Mutant supremacists groups began to rise as well founding a base on an abandoned island called Avalon. The Police still reeling from losses in the Mutant violence only months before trust nether side and have begun developing an Anti-Mutant crime unit.
