I Need A Hero

Welcome to the future. Too bad it isn’t the future it should be. It all started twenty three years ago when Lex Luthor held a secret meeting with some of the most vile, psychotic, and ruthless criminals around the globe. Lex devised a way to rid the word of their so-called heroes and allow his fellow villains to take control. Luthor’s plan was a simple one, but extremely effective. Creating a time traveling device, Luthor lured Batman, Superman, The Flash, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, and Wonder Woman into the future. Closing the portal behind him so that the League’s founding members couldn’t call for reinforcements, Luthor hid from his pursuers.

Meanwhile, in the past. All the villains joined together to wage an all out war against the heroes left behind. With all the villains working together in a surprise attack, the heroes were unable to fight back. There were many losses on both sides and even in this new future the war wages on. A war in which the villains have the upper hand. Now the heroes from the past must ask their children and successors of today for help in finding Lex Luthor and returning to their past where so that they can set things right. But they aren’t the only ones who need help. The heroes of today have questions of their own.

In this dark and seemingly hopeless future where the heroes of old must face the challenges of the future, more and more people are looking to the sky and saying “I need a hero.” Will you be that hero or will you be a part of the darkness consuming them?


Timeline:

I Need A Hero is an AU Board based on DC’s New Earth Continuity (Pre-Reboot) in which the founding members of the Justice League disappeared twenty three years ago during a pursuit of Lex Luthor into the future. It has only been a short time, roughly a couple weeks, since the old heroes arrived in the future.

It should be noted that the Canon heroes from the past should be listed as being in their forties in applications. Also be sure to note in any app that you make that if your hero is under the age of twenty three that they would not know any of the old heroes who disappeared.

Any canon children of the old heroes are also available to be played as well. Anyone from Tim Drake and Connor Hawke to Jai and Iris West can be played. If you have any questions on who might or might not be playable then please PM an Administrator.

Concerning Kids if you want to have a child of a fan made pairing or pairing that isn't together now (ex: Superboy/Cassandra Cain) you may as long as it doesn't affect our plot and you explain how it happened.
